A general home inspection takes an average of three hours to complete depending on the size and condition of the house. We offer appointments 7 days a week with the hope that you will be able to attend the inspection. We know you may have a busy schedule and understand that attendance is not always possible. If you are unable to attend any, or all, of the inspection we will meet with you to review the inspection findings in detail as though you were present initially. If you are able to attend the home inspection we will discuss the findings as we conduct the walk-through and take time at the end to talk over any questions or concerns. Once the inspection and report are completed we invite you to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns. As you may have expected – we found some problems during your initial inspection. You may have even requested repairs from the seller before purchasing the home, which is great! However, would you know if the repairs were completed professionally and within current building standards? Whether repairs were made by contractors hired by the seller before closing or by yourself after you move in, having a contractor inspection can provide you and your family peace of mind knowing you are safe in your home. We inspect the home after repairs have been completed to ensure that they are complete and that they satisfy current building standards.

Using contractors that have been recommended, and that are qualified as reputable and professional tradesmen according to their credentials and other sources is a great place to start! As always, no matter how you choose a contractor it is important to personally qualify any company you use. We recommend obtaining at least 3 quotes when hiring any contractor as there are multiple ways to complete any given job and there are a variety of standards in workmanship, style and quality of materials used. Contractors are not a one size fits all service provider. Many local contractors that we work closely with offer various discounts to our customers just like you!
